This unfiltered Chardonnay has an intriguing aroma of lemon meringue and lychee fruits with flavors of apple and porcini mushrooms on the palate. The wine’s time in lightly toasted new French oak offers a well balanced integration of oak that creates the traditional richness of a Chardonnay while not being overwhelmed by any oaky or buttery characteristics. This balance leads to a long and complex finish of lemongrass.   Ⓥ

The 2023 Wirtz Pinot Gris comes from older vine plantings at our Wirtz vineyard. On the nose, notes of fresh greenery, a dewy early morning hike through an orchard, along with gooseberry, green apple, and kiwi interplay with each other. On the palate, honeydew and key lime with an essence of white pepper round the richness of fruit. A soft mouthfeel carries into the finish.  Ⓥ

The 2024 Wirtz Pinot Gris comes from older vine plantings at our Wirtz vineyard. On the nose are tropical notes of candied pineapple, ripe mango, along with a slight component of savory tarragon and beachgrass. On the palate, clementine and white peach fruit with the skin give a round richness. Slight skin contact from heavy press lends to a slight bitterness, a textural component on the palate making for a very food friendly wine, especially cheese and charcuterie.  Ⓥ

This expressive 2022 Blackjack Pinot Noir has many layers beginning with bright cherry and brambly red fruit. Subtle hints of pink peppercorn, star anise, and blueberry with tertiary notes of leather and forest floor reveal on the nose. On the palate, balanced fruit and subtle but lingering tannins make for a very drinkable wine on its own and with food.   Ⓥ

Reminiscent of a brisk fall forest hike, aromatic notes of dewy moss and fern, spruce tip needles and wild huckleberry with boysenberry and toasted barrel spices complete the nose of our 2022 old vine Pinot noir. On the palate, the fruit carries through the mid palate, leading to a lingering, long finish, highlighting this elegant, yet bold wine.
